Alarm Troubleshooting Guide

A blog like web application for documenting best known responses for equipment recovery from alarm ids. The web application was programmed with Python using the framework Flask. MySQL was used for the database. The app is hosted on a personal Ubuntu Server using Apache2 on the Amazon Web Services Lightsail.

The Brief

Working in a semiconductor factory the recovery of down equipment is critical. The available software for documenting past events is not made to handle a search window of more than two months at a time. There is no consistency in the title naming convention to help sort through past documentation to help the recovery process. This app makes it easy to search for alarms and reach the proper documentation efficiently.

The Result

The Alarm Troubleshooting Guide solves the issues listed above and allows the technician to efficiently recover down equipment. The app is still being improved to add more helpfull features.
